Volunteer / Beta-Reader

The Library of the Moon encourages teens to get involved in reading-related activities that support both the club and the broader young adult book community. This page highlights opportunities for members who want to contribute, build skills, and take a more active role in promoting literacy.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Teens can participate in organizing book-related events, helping with book faires, or assisting in managing online discussions. Volunteers may help moderate forums, recommend new titles, or contribute ideas for future club activities. These roles allow members to build leadership experience and become more involved in the reading community.

Beta-Reader Opportunities:
Some publishers and independent authors offer early reading opportunities for young adult audiences. Beta readers preview upcoming books, provide feedback on story elements, and share their impressions before the final release. Interested teens can sign up to be notified when new beta-reading opportunities become available.

Both volunteer and beta-reader roles are optional, and members can choose the level of involvement that works best for them. The goal is to give teens meaningful ways to participate, learn, and connect with others through their love of books.
